This Lancair is now available. The original and current owner is a Boeing engineer and Peter built this beautiful Lancair, has maintained to standards we've not seen before and has an amazing library of documentation that will permit excellent maintenance plus enhance value when it is time to sell it.

Pater says it is time to pass it to the next generation and he has entrusted LancairTalk to assist with the marketing. This Lancair has Incredibly detailed ADs, SBs, Inspections, Maintenance logs, original invoices for everything from the ignition switch to complete logs on engine, airframe,prop and avionics.

Peter bought the Lycoming 390 engine and had it assembled by Mattituck. You will note the extra climb performance. Some of our European operators use the 390 in Austria and other mountainous regions. Peter has recently installed new tires, tubes and brake pads for the next owner's safety. The Lancair has GAMIjectors. a stunning Chelton EIS Sport, fully updated with Pinpoint GADAHARS. It is coupled and flies approaches to 200 feet with rock solid performance. In October, 2023 he overhauled the prop with MT in Florida so it has a Zero time SOH prop from MT factory.

It has Dynon backup EFIS. The GRT EIS displays on either Chelton EFIS and the EIS box. Both wing tanks and headers tank are equipped with fuel probes and gauges. Becker radios power comm and transponder. A CO detector is in the panel. An ARTEX 406 ELT is registered with NOAA for the latest satellite coverage worldwide.

Every component has source and description for maintenance. April is the annual condition inspection date so we expect you will do a pre-buy and probably ask the builder to run the inspection with you in attendance. It has fighter style left side controls.

A quick update: working on inspections, flight testing, ferrying, training, insurance. There is a lot of coordination required for a proper sale. The owner wants a thorough inspection performed. The buyer wants to learn as much as possible from the builder/owner. We're organizing pilots to help with the demo and ferry and training. Schedules for all parties need to be sorted. Aerotitle has to get docs and signatures and verify IDs for funds transfers. It is good to see great Lancairs going to new owners after decades of service to the original builder. It should be a story in EAA's magazine. After 3 decades, what other airplane can claim to be in this terrific condition. Even Lance would probably be impressed with what is now happening.
