Marketing does two things. It helps pay the server and support bills, keeping access open and free to enthusiasts like you, and it provides a healthy transition method to bring in new owners to the brand. We all know the OEM, past and present, has been dormant for a decade but sales are brisk, prices are solid and interest from the marketplace is picking up each year.
Here is one ad we are preparing for the IV-P equipped with BRS and a boatload of features. It typically would be a step up for a Cirrus owner who wants the BRS device and it is way less expensive to acquire and operate. And, it is a bit faster I think.
Things are terribly busy. N451M (TKS) IV-P sold two weeks ago. This one in the ad seems to have an offer coming. Another Lancair N414LG is scheduled to close tomorrow the 28th August.
