Looking for a dukes 5457-00-1 fuel pump

Postby Chase Shiver » Mon Sep 29, 2025 5:50 pm

I’m looking for a dukes 5457-00-1 fuel pump. Only thing I can find is to send mine in for a rebuild and I don’t want to be without the plane if possible. I’m not sure that it’s my problem or if there is even a problem at all other than me being too hyper focused on stuff. Anybody have a recommendation?

Thanks

I found one off ebay, had it overhauled by Aeromotors, and kept the working-when-removed pump as a spare.
Aeromotors almost doesn't care what pump you send in, they are going to give you the model you want, overhauled/remanufactured to new specs.
I would call and tell them your plan, get their approval before buying a core.

You can read about it here;

Chase, do you have photos of the pump label and symptoms? Is it leaking and original Dukes?

I found a reman in stock and ordered it. It’s not leaking but noticing small drops in fuel pressure in long flights so I figured I’d change it precautionary. I only pulled it back enough to get a part number off it so I’m not sure on if it’s an actual dukes but it did say dukes on it.

the Dukes typically will start to leak and that is one of the fixes done by Aeromotors using their upgrade PMA parts. They do send it back quickly also. Remember, cash or equivalent, no cards, prepay the shipping also.
